MojiOkoshi (hereinafter referred to as "this App" or "this Service") places great importance on the protection of users' personal information. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") explains what information this Service collects and how it is used and managed.

Important Notice

This App does not store recording data or transcription data on any server. All data is stored only on your device and remains under your complete control.

3.1 Data Storage Location

All audio data recorded by this App and transcribed text data are stored only on your device. This data is never sent to or stored on the operator's servers.

3.2 Standard Mode (Offline)

In Standard Mode, transcription is performed on-device using on-device speech recognition. No audio data or transcription data is sent outside the device.

3.3 High Quality Mode (Online) — Data Transmission to Third-Party AI Service

High Quality Mode is an opt-in feature that only operates when the user explicitly enables it in the app's settings screen. When High Quality Mode is enabled, the following processing occurs:

3.4 Data Deletion

Users can delete recording data and transcription data at any time from the history screen within the app. Deleted data is completely erased and cannot be recovered.

4.4 On-Device Speech Recognition

Used in Standard Mode and the initial stage of High Quality Mode

All speech recognition processing is performed on the device, and audio data is never sent externally

Article 4-2 (Consent for Data Sharing with Third-Party AI Service)

The use of High Quality Mode is opt-in, based on the user's explicit choice.

In High Quality Mode, this App sends data to Google Vertex AI / Gemini API provided by Google LLC in order to improve the quality of transcription results.

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The operator will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the user's prior consent, except in the following cases:

Article 6 (International Data Transfers)

When using High Quality Mode, transcription text, language code, and custom dictionary entries are processed through Google Cloud Functions (us-central1 region) and Google Vertex AI operated by Google LLC (United States). However, this data is immediately discarded after processing and is not stored.

Article 7 (Data Retention Period)

7.1 On-Device Data

Recording data and transcription data are retained on the device until the user deletes them within the app or uninstalls the app.

7.2 Advertising-Related Data

Data related to advertising delivery (IDFA, ad interactions, etc.) is managed in accordance with Google AdMob's privacy policy.

7.3 Server-Side Data

No recording data or transcription data is stored on the operator's servers.

Article 8 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When requested by an individual to disclose their personal information, the operator will disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure falls under any of the following cases, the operator may choose not to disclose all or part of the information, and will notify the individual of such decision without delay:

Article 9 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a user's personal information held by the operator is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") of their personal information through procedures established by the operator.

When the operator receives such a request and determines that it is necessary to respond, the operator will carry out the correction, etc. of the personal information without delay.

Article 10 (Deletion of App Data)

Users can delete data within the app using the following methods:

10.1 Individual Data Deletion

Individual recording data and transcription data can be deleted from the history screen within the app.

10.2 Deletion of All Data

Uninstalling the app will delete all data stored on the device.

10.3 Server-Side Data Deletion

If you wish to delete inquiry history and other data held by the operator, please contact us at support@butterfalcon.com. Data will be deleted within 30 days as a general rule.

Article 11 (Cookies and Similar Technologies)

This App is a native application and does not use web browser cookies. However, the following technologies may be used for advertising delivery:

Users can opt out of ad personalization by changing the "Tracking" permission in iOS Settings.

Article 12 (Security)

The operator implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction of personal information.

However, complete security of information transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed.

Article 13 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

The contents of this Policy may be changed without notifying users, except for matters separately stipulated by law or in this Policy.

In the case of significant changes, users will be notified through in-app notifications or announcements on the website. The revised Privacy Policy takes effect from the time it is posted on this website.
